I realize this is an older thread...I'm troubleshooting the P1412 and P1415 codes after putting a new (ebay) SAI pump on. Are you supposed to be able to blow thru the air reservoir in both directions...ie: should there be any restrictions? I pulled the hose on one end that connect to it (straight hose to nipple connection) and can blow thru that rubber line fine. but on the other end, when i pulled the rubber elbow off, I could not blow thru that end...

There are no check valves in that line.

that line connects to the SAI solenoid so that is normal then?...ie: until the valve opens you wouldn't be able to push air thru...right?

All the lines should be open when disconnected. Not sure what you are asking. You can test the valve with a jumper across the terminals.
