Default DII rear wiper blade?

My rear wiper does not clean my window that well at all. Are the D1 rears better just like the fronts? More tension on the D1 style?

You would be better off buying a new rear wiper assembly.

Anyone ever try to replace the tension spring with a higher tension one?

I have not tried to replace the spring but I have thought about using a front wiper arm instead. Im just not sure if it would wear out the motor due to the weight of the metal arm. It also has way more tension on the spring then the plastic arm. Plus, it would be a nice permanent fix if it worked.

I've used a d1 rear arm. Works great.

I replaced all three from A.B. and the back wiper was only wiping about half the rear window. 3 months later I accidentally broke the rear blade so I ordered a new one. This one works fine and wipes the entire window.

My thought was maybe I put the first blade on backwards as I think you can install them visa versa but I did not note this before taking the old (broke one) off and putting on the new one.
