Default disco 2 hand brake problem plz help

Dear All
my disco 2 model 2001 is showing 3 error lights again n again hill decent, ABS & TC. (break is working normal)
and when I push hand brake button with out pulling the hand brake it will go up by it self,it was not like this before the 3 error lights. please somebody help me to solve this issue.

That combination of lights is known as the Three Amigos. There are dozens of threads about them on here -- just search for that.

My hand brake did the same thing. It is the hand brake cable. I had to replace my cable, which is a surprisingly complicated thing to do.

Look on the Atlantic British. If memory serves, they have a video on it.

That is probably unrelated to your three amigos.

actualy i was confused about Hand Brake I thought it is related with 3 amigos as I start geting the both issue it the same time.

Saleem I could be wrong about that but I'm pretty sure. Maybe someone will chime in.

Before you replace the hand brake cable, check to see that yours is attached. You can see the end if you remove the boot on the lever. There is a metal frame in the boot. Just squeeze it and work the boot off. It will be obvious when you see it. There is a keeper for the outer cable and the inner cable ends in a metal part that goes in the lever.

To replace the cable you have to take the rear driveshaft off and the back of the brake drum. It is a real pain in the ***.
