mmmm had another employee look at it, little did I know he was a mechanic in the Marines.. Took it for a quick spin, went from axel to engine mount, to tire balance, and settled on what he called u-bolts on the drive shaft.

lol... U bolt didn't sound right at all, think he was referring to u joint.

If it is indeed the ujoint, is that replaceable without replacing the whole drive shaft.. again..?

Yes. 3 ujs and 1 centering ball
The centering ball can be a bear.

What year is your D2? If you can lock the CDL, remove the front drive shaft and take it for a drive to see if the vibration is still there before spending the time and money of replacing u-joints that may or may not be the problem.

Screwing with the driveshaft is a bit above my head.

Just tossing this out there, it really feels mid-to-rear shaking, I know my back struts are more or less needing a replacement. Could this be it?

Sort of almost sounds like a flat tire at 65mph ha

If you are wondering why i am asking if I cant replace it myself its to "do my homework" in case I have to take it into a shop.

Have you had the tire balance checked yet?

Had my employee take it to "his guy" at meineke right near our store, he didn't want to bother with balancing was adamant the front drive shaft needed to be balanced since it was replaced last spring.
