According to shop, previous owner might have disable the slabs system and change to coil springs, for some reason, the owner switched back to air springs. If the Slabs was disable before, the shop can not reset slabs. It must be replaced if I need to make the slabs system work on my disco. is this true that when slabs is disable once, you can never reset back unless replace another slabs?

I don't believe they are right. I think you can change the setting back.

yes, you can change your slab back and forth from coil to air as Jafir showed, so I dont think that is your problem

very interesting..... am i being fool? u know what, most of disco 2 owners here with air springs change to coil when slabs problems show up~ it's not cheap doing conversion although the process seem simple.

Where can I get the diagnostic tool? anyone has one for rent
today, I took my disco to another shop, the guy told me same thing...... it cant be fix. I question him which part is NO good?? they can not give me the exact parts which caused the amber lights stay on cluster. When I seek for confirmation, ask them again if that's the part broken?? they seem lack of confident, their words going around and around, never ends.
In the end, I think they know "****" abt LR. (pardon me). NOT to mention LR specialist, really shameful when they said they have over 7yrs of experience fixing LR.
