I would be curious to see the difference in what is stopped in the filter with the filtermag compared to without. I would like to see pictures of the filters opened up for comparison. That would be true proof whether it makes a difference or not.

The Filtermag website also has pictures. I also use the transmission pan magnet. I dropped the pan about a month ago and there was plenty of particles attracted to the magnet. An engine can survive with regular oil and filter changes without a magnet on the filter. I just like the added protection. I can also move it to other vehicles if my Rover ever leaves me.
