Anyone know an easy way to remove the stud for a wheel mount that just spins I've tried just about everything? My last resort is to drill it out and I bet it's going to be hard since I can't break it off with an impact wrench!

How the hell did a lug nut get stripped on the stud, OH WELL, time to get out an air chisel and curt the lug nut off.

 

Yeah thats what I thought I was having new tires put on and one of the lugs just kept spining. I have to drop it of Monday morning and they are going to drill it out and replace the stud and put the last tire on. Who ever owned the Rover before me had the lugs on so tight I could not belive it. Thanksfor the info Mike, I was wondering if someone else ran into this before.
