Default Disco II Extended Warranty READ!

I read a forum dealing with extended warranties and did a little research online. Here are two I am considering...

Warrantie4wheels.com quote for my disco with 86,000 (there is $0 deductible with claims up to $3,500: here is the link that was e-mailed to me with the policy.. I NEED HELP figuring out if this policy covers problems such as the three amigos as well as any other common problems. Thanks! Policy: http://www.warranties4wheels.com/inf...Protection.pdf
(it is $3,050 for 60/75,000mi)

The other website I found is smartautowarranty.com There coverage is 24mo/24,000mi and is much more expensive, $3,870. It has a $100 deductible but no claim limit. Here is the policy...

I dont know if anyone on this forum is a lawyer... but if any are... PLEASE let everyone know the ups/downs of each. I know that extended warranties are A MUST for LR owners and I think that everyone here would appreciate the help.

Thanks guys,
-Steve

Take the money you would be spending on the warranty and put it in a CD.
With your high mileage, the only players are very low rated companies that will do whatever they can to get out of a claim.
If you do continue in this direction ask for an actual copy of the contract and read in back and forth.
Warranties4Wheels is just a briker if I am not mistaken so tread very carefully.

Read this post off of another forum. But extended warrenties are a waste of money. You are better off puting that money into a money market account.
If you cannot afford to put $3500 in all at once, then open one with $100 and make payments to yourself.
And you never want to finance a warrenty, why pay interest on something that has no real value?
Remember that salesmen get commission on "extras".
