Default Disco II Tires

Has anyone put wheels/tires from a newer range rover on a disco II. I want to put 19" Continental Cross Contact 255/50/19 with load rating 107 on my 2001. Checked for previous threads with this topic but didn't see any. Any thoughts appreciated.

I know there is a pic on here on the saudi grill thread. It has two dII's with RR sport rims. At least 20's.

Yes, it can be done.
You will need the lug nuts to those wheels and HUB centric rings to keep them from causing Vibes on your steering.

Thanks - knew about the lugnuts -- anything else you can tell me about the "hub centric rings" comment? Haven't heard this yet.

This should clarify hub centric:

Got it - one last question, to be sure. Aligning the rims with just centering lug nuts is not good enough, and the hub centric rings lock down the rims in a better way.
Bundu - really appreciate the time.

scottmehl,

You are correct...you want your wheels to be "hub centric" not "lug centric"...fill the gap
