Disco II won't move
No worries. We'd tried that, but with no luck. It wasn't until my boyfriend was able to get the truck into low gear that it he was finally able to bust it loose. Shame on us for not knowing how to properly engage the transfer gear after all these years.
Do you think there actual damage was done to the brakes leaving it sit like that? I'm going to take it into the shop to have it checked, but I'm just curious as to what you think.

No harm done, just drive it and the rust will wear off and all will be shiny again, it may take a week for that to happen all the way around, if you really wanted to get it 100% then get new brakes and rotors on all fours, I would be more worried about the stale gas and water in the motor oil from condensation.
Drive it for a couple of days and then get the oil changed, the next time you drive it fill it up with a good brand of gas, like Shell, BP, Cheveron, etc. make sure that you use premium and then when you get the oil changed buy a bottle of injector cleaner and then top off the tank again and dump that into the gas tank, drive it until the low fuel light comes on and then you are good to go.
