Disco ii wont start after warm up.
That's the key. And I can't think of anything that does that.
I recall I kept getting crap running and a knock sensor code once and then, driving down the highway, I saw smoke under the hood. The wire was against the manifold and burned through.
Also, some wires came loose on the highway and shut down the engine, brakes, lights, etc. Everything electrical went dead at once when some other wires touched the exhaust manifold. That was real exciting on a two lane highway at 2am, with a ditch and construction cones to my right.
But those things wouldn't get better when it cooled down. I'm stumped.

Nope havent ran obd code reader, on two accounts. 1 i dont own one, two cant go to parts place and hook up cause then id have to stay for a few hours! I also read something about a fuel temp sensor. Im with you guys its air fuel spark simple, i know i have spark so i kinda ruled out faulty crank position sensor that i just put in being deffective, i have Not checked cam position sensor nor did i know of one to check.

I'm guessing you don't have an orange 'engine light' lit, top left on dash? If not, double check the bulb lights at start up.
You have to get the codes read. Your engine is trying to tell you the problem.
A code reader will also show pending codes that may not blossom into a service engine light.
Yup, im going to see if i can borrow one from a buddy and do it later today but now that mondays back and have yet to figure out how to live and enjoy life without a 9-6 the rover must wait till tonight. Thanks guys ill keep yall posted.
