Default Disco- refueling problem

I have a 98 disco with 180km, on my 3500km road trip across canada, and upon refueling after driving about 500km, the gaspump stopped after puting in about $20 worth of fuel or 1/4 tank, so managed to get about 1/4 more by adding like 25cents at a time.. while trying to make sure it didnt over flow, it took a while to say the least.. It did this about 2/3rds of the time when refueling, the other 1/3 of the time it filled up with no problems.
Is anyone aware of any problems, it was like there was a pinched line or something, I dunno, but its frustrating. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Sounds like you have a venting problem while fueling which could be caused by a bad fuel line between the fuel tank and the fuel cap.

Default RE: Disco- refueling problem

Hi, I am having the same problem. What can I do to fix this? Can I order the parts and do it myself? Also, the hinge to the back door of my 98 disco rusted out and became totally unhinged, can I fix this or is this a dealer item? Thanks in advance for your time! Lisa
