Disconnect EVAP pipe from inlet plenum
OK guys, I'm trying to remove the upper intake to change plugs and wires. No misfiring problem, it's just time.
One small step has me stumped. The RAVE says disconnect EVAP pipe from inlet plenum. I can see it. I've tried squeezing the connector every which way, but I can't figure out how to remove it. There must be a simple answer. Thanks.

If you're talking about the Purge Control Valve Line that connects near the throttle body, there were two types of clips. Some are one sided with a grey push in tab & the other older one has two black tabs on each side you must squeeze for it to release. It helps to be pushing in slightly then when you squeeze the tab/tabs it should slide free from the nipple on the intake manifold. Forgot to mention from the factory they had a rubber cover that hides the tabs. You can slip it back to expose the connector.
Yeah, thanks. I never could get enough leverage on the tab on the back side. I ended up leaving it connected and just swung the upper intake up and out of the way to the driver's side. Not ideal but it worked, I think. We're putting everything back together now
