Do you suppose there's any thermal benefit to be gained by having an aluminum tank? With it acting as something of a heat sink? Or if any gains, they might be immaterial?

Does the temp change hold up? In my case, I've seen a drop from the usual 188.6F to 186.6F but only for short periods... I run 180F genuine with brand new radiator, cooling system, etc.. All is flushed once per year.
