It looks like they have an entire kit -- including the hose between the tstat and the water pump -- anyone have experience with the whole thing? https://carrs4x4.com/products/land-r...r-t-4-way-tube

Sorry to say this but others may want to ignore this and check out a company in Britain called Allisport. They are making the same coolant tanks with a coolant level sensor in the unit. Lots of guys here are buying them. No more overheating without warning.

British Pounds=Allisport
American Dollars=CARRS4x4
I'm in England. I've bought and prefer the CARRS4x4 products. Allisport does make nice rads tho…

@NZgreen I had not noticed they sell the float level switch option. Pretty cool if it works reliably.

do you have one in your rig? Mind posting pics of the float level assembly and how you wired it in?

I don't think Allisport are making the same coolant tank. Pretty sure that Abran went through a whole design phase for his... so while theirs might be a tank that performs the same function, it's not the same specific item as Abran's.

The Allisport tank with a sight glass works out to be about US$240, plus shipping from the UK. (A float switch seems pointless since I don't know of anything built-in to connect it to.) Carrs4x4 tank with a sight glass is $209, plus domestic shipping within the US.
So, it's cheaper, does the same job, and helps support an active forum member and contributor. I know which one I'd go for. Shipping costs to other parts of the world might change that viewpoint, but even if they worked out the same I'd still go for Abran's.

Hello

where did you get the hoses for the tank? They look thicker and better than the cheap plastic hose on mine ..
