Exclamation Discovery 2 lug nuts - M12?

Hi I just bought a set of steel wheels listed for Discovery 99-04. Also the matching lug nuts listed. They arrived and the wheels have the correct centers but the nuts they sent are M14s. The nuts on my 2000 SALTY Discovery are M12s. Currently the wheels are the standard 18 alloys and have Landrover nuts - M12s.

Can anyone clarify if they built vehicles with different nut sizes and which years?

They all have the same nuts. I've seen some people slap on steelies with factory nuts, might try that. Otherwise you might find some nuts at your local auto parts store to fit.

Disco 1 is M16x1.5
Disco 2 is M14x.15

If they sent you nuts for a D1 the will be too big.

Of course when the nuts were too big I measured the core and it was 14mm. Of course the correct measurement is 2mm bigger as it goes tot eh seat of the thread - dummy! So that is why I thought my studs must be the next size down. Seems that the 4 packs of nuts they sent me are M16. I got a set from NAPPA that will work in the end and have a outside thread for a plastic screw on cap.

Whatever you do, do not use your stock lug nuts on steel wheels. They are not designed for it.

Stock part # is ANR3679

You need to use ANR4851
