discovery 2 lug thread size

You don't need the size, contact either Atlantic British or Rover Connection on line and just order them, make sure you specify for a D2 not a D1.

@LRDISCO DO NOT buy cheap ones, the keys tend to fail and no tow truck carries a locking nut breaker for our size of lug nuts. I have seen 3 of those cheap locking hub keys fail.
Buy a good quality one ,or you may come to regret it, the guy in the jeep did 150.00 service call to a forest service road. Nothing we could do to help him other than make coffee and wait with him.

@Dave03S man I did not notice the date of the original post
On a different note but lug nut related. Off roading years ago one LR owner ( a D2) had a torn sidewall with one seized lug nut now sporting rounded off corners.
Told they got the other four off after a long struggle before we arrived.
Removed two batteries from other vehicles, connected jumper cables installed their now POS socket over the now POS lug nut.
Down the center with 1/8" 6013 welding rod leftover from a welding job did a rosette weld.
With the socket and lug nut now as one plus heat it was an easy lugremoval and spare install with a modified SK socket I carry besides the crappy LR socket.
