I'll probably not dyno again... I did it on my volvo and it was terrifying. But, it shot flames...which was cool

It's great fun ................... provided you're not the car owner.

The great thing about a car wheel dyno run is it cuts through all of the BS and the truth prevails. I've seen so many disappointed faces watching their 'super dooper' tuned pride and joy under perform against all of the claims and promises.

A tuned engine at 11-13K rpm also tends to focus your mind and wallet knowing if it goes 'pop' the repair bill is gonna be huge, their time and dyno bill is peanuts by comparison.

so you using a desktop dyno program to come up with your 215 hp and 230 torque numbers, now it makes sense.

Yep, and I've been open about that in the past when posting the same thing. 230 HP and 315 torque seems pretty well backed up by the 10.56 second 0-60 time, as well as the fact that the original reading was actually below the advertised numbers and even below the numbers that everyone seems to think their vehicle is capable of.

Believe it if you like, don't if it makes you feel better. Makes no difference to me.
