That will extend the throw and make the linkage actuate sooner.

Thanks for the write-up. I think I will upgrade my speakers and throw in some dynamat while I'm in there

That would be a nice upgrade! My stereo makes no sound, so new speakers aren't even on my radar yet.

My door lock hadn't been functioning since I bought the truck. I always meant to fix it but it was low on the list. I bought the pin from Abran last month and finally actually fixed it last week. Yesterday we got two feet of snow. I had not driven the disco in over a week. I went it move it and the battery was totally dead. The remote wouldn't do anything. Had I not have fixed this sucker I would have been totally screwed. So thank you guys! And if you have this issue, fix it asap.
