Not that it matters, but I've got an 03 SE with non SLS rear suspension from the factory. Also, Dave03S is right, don't worry about being in the doomsday "VIN Range". All 4.6 Rover engines have the potential to crack the oil pump rotor and fail. If it was one of the ones with misaligned dowels in the block for the front cover, it would have failed and been replaced by now anyway.

Was the sunroof standard or an upgrade for the 2003 S? KBB only has an option for dual sunroofs. This one has a single sunroof.

Probably aftermarket.

Well, I've talked him down to 4400. I ran the carfax and it was clear, though the VIN does fall in the range for the oil pump problems. It was 70k miles, could this still be an issue? He does not remember any major work other than the usual fluid changes.
