Are are you wanting to change out? Stay with the Dexcool and Distilled water cause one way or the other you will need to flush the system every 2 years so go with what Rover calls for.

mike, i just stayed with dex.

i flushed with water 5 times and still had a tinge of orange to it. and i am so **** that if i think there is a drop of old dexcool in with new green stuff then i will be uneased.

so i flushed. filled with a gallon of dexcool and topped off with distilled. ran and bleed/ burped the system.

in the mix of all this i swapped the thermostat and tried to remove to stupid plastic shield but i will need a dremel to cut it out.

painted 2 wheels black and cleaned up all the wire connections that got water and antifreeze on them.

checked the oil etc etc etc.

lubed the shafts and joints.

tonight while i paint the other 2 wheels i will also be cleaning and conditioning the leather.

Make sure to recheck the coolant level 2 times over the next week, when stone cold and make sure you are filled to the cap, not the lines on the bottle.

If you are pulling the belly pan out, I had to pull the steering dampner and drag link off, not too bad coming off but the draglink ends just spin unless you get a torx inside
