the 'black rubber' thing you pushed is the inertia switch, its got nothing to do with this system, solely a fuel pump cut-off switch... anyway, you have a bad door latch, do they all lock and unlock when trying, both with the remote and the dash switch? if so, get that one replaced. if not, take a guess, pick one of the 5 doors and unplug the latch, close all the others and see if the light now goes off, make sure its set to the door open on setting. if not, plug it back in and try another... easiest way to do it unless you want to pull apart a header joint thats difficult to get to and youre comfortable with electricity and DVOMs
