Post Dont know which shocks will fit

I purchased a 2001 land rover disco 2 with a lift kit recently when offroading i felt the shocks bottom out and they look pretty rusted (they are rough countries) the previous owner said that it had a 4 inch lift. I do not know which shocks to get. Will stock shocks fit? or do i need to get larger ones?

If you have a true 3" or 4" lift, then the answer is no stock shocks will not fit. You will need something like a Terrafirma Pro Sport TF133(front) > https://www.lucky8llc.com/collection...shock-absorber

TF134 (Rear) > https://www.lucky8llc.com/collection...shock-absorber

TF133 - Pro Sport 3-Inch Lift

If you can post a pic of your truck and suspension parts (coils, shocks, etc.)

If you are using on highway and also offroad it may feel strange due to a different steering geometry.

If you are doing a genuine 3-4" suspension lift for the first time you will probably, almost certainly, need the steering geometry re-adjusting particularly the caster angle. There are caster corrected suspension radius arms available for D2's for this sort of suspension lift.
