From what I can tell the 922786 has a longer shaft 36MM nut part, and it uses much larger bolts. I've seen one of these before installed onto a D1 and the OEM fan had to be drilled out as well. It was replaced with a new OEM fan blade (D1 is smaller) and the Duralast 922790. If I'm not mistaken that is probably the Chevy Express van fan clutch. I use the Dodge Dakota US MOTOR WORKS 22151, Duralast 922790, or the Hayden 2991 fan clutch and those are 100% exact match parts. Absolutely zero modifications need to made when using the OEM D2 99-02 Fan Blade or the Dorman 620-112 unit.

Damn. Wish I got the Duralast 922790. And save myself the drama.
I might just swap it later. It’s on there and spins.. looks balanced. But paranoid any oscillation might cause the water pump to fail prematurely ? I don’t know if 2-3k rpm can be a problem. Either way
getting The 922790 next time. Wish I found out sooner.
