Default Drag link removal issue

I'm trying to remove the drag linkage to replace it and I can't get the ball joint at the end of the link to stop spinning. I can't pull it off anymore and I cant put it back on.....little perplexed. Reading the RAVE now and it just says it remove the nut and thats it.?

If you have an impact wrench is gonna be your best bet. Onece they start turning like that its a real PITA to get loosend or tightend with out an air gun. Or if your replacing it any how you can try to hit it back into place with a hammer while turning the nut.

Depending on the end, place your jack under it to force it back in to the hole so you have pressure on it, or use a lever to press the end in and hold it.

Thanks for both of the replies. Used a jack to put pressure on it and used my neighbors compressor and impact wrench...done and dusted. Thanks guys!

It seems like you should be able to attach an allen wrench / hex key, (5 or 6mm - somewhere in there) into the end of the spindle to keep it from spinning. Check it out.
