Looks like my attempt to save some cash bit me in the long run. I climbed under and noticed a lot of play in the driveshaft centering joint. I had replaced the driveshaft with one from toddco suspension about 3k miles ago. I have the guys over at GBR putting a new one of their remanufactured drivelines on today. They have a much better reputation. Here's hoping everything holds up. Thanks guys.

Seriously? Did they grease the thing after they installed it? That should have gone for a little longer than that. From what I have heard they have a decent reputation. Did you contact them about getting your money back?

I replaced the driveshaft myself and greased all the fittings when it was installed. There has always been a bit of a vibration at around 40mph but it wasn't awful. I'll email toddco and maybe he'll hook it up with a refund. For now GBR is 5 minutes from my house. I'll get it replaced so I can deal with him in the future.
