Tight, but they cleared. I've had the Magnaflows before as well and the clearance is about the same.

Clogged doesn't matter, but rattling does. If it's rattling the core material is usually melted and some may have been lost down the exhaust.

$1200 for the set was about right 9 months or so ago. Prices had dropped quite a bit last time I checked (3ish months ago), but I haven't checked since then.

ah okay then. makes sense. Good to know. Mine were clogged (p0420 code) and then new cats cured it. I sold mine in June for the $1250 so I must've hit it at the right time.

I was going to be fine with magnaflow $75 deal until someone on here posted numbers like this. $680 was plenty good to cover a large chunk of the new ones.
