Default Driveshaft disaster averted

Got Lucky! From following this community since day one of D2 ownership, I've no doubtedly saved my self from several misfortunes. But, if you've ever worked on household electrical, you sort of start to get cocky after awhile until you get shocked (again). So, I knew the driveshaft was a ticking time bomb as no sign of ever being updated and 187k on the clock. I figured I would know when it started to drive weird and I'm the only driver (for reasons documented on this site), so I rolled the dice. Today, while doing a little Sunday pavement driving with the kids I started noticing the engine feeling like it was stumbling with a wobble reverberating through the vehicle. It certainly wasn't enough to normally think driveshaft, but it was the first thing across my mind due to this forum.

I had to really look close to see the brewing problem and I even had to do some prying with a screw driver to confirm for certain. Basically, the back of one of the u-joint caps had what appeared to be a dust cover just slightly bent, but as soon as I pried on it, little pieces of broken needle bearings popped out with lots of metal dust. Cheers to everyone who takes the time to write on this forum!

If I can figure out a way to post pictures I will.
