Excellent, a little steep in price though; you should be able to buy all the parts needed at your local auto parts store for $20-$50 cheaper than the $99 (plus shipping?) toddco is charging...and get parts the same day.

Either way, this is a lot cheaper than a new transmission!

From antichrist: "If they are in your area Advance Auto is a good place to get the parts.
3 x PDQ 1-0005 @ $13 - http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...5271118-P_17_R
1 x Neapco 7-0081NG @ $29. - http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...GRPUCVSAMS____
Your rear propshaft takes the same u-joint.
Do not get them at Autozone. All they sell are Chinese."

What is oxnard driveline actually charging for the labor though? IMO, buy the parts yourself and take them to oxnard to rebuild. Unless you are independently wealthy, save money anyway you can on these trucks, you will need it for gas!

Hey, prices vary from place to place. As long as you get quality parts, then may the price be what it is, where ever you buy it from. I got the same kit from Toddco for the convenience. Didnt feel like running around for parts, so for the simplicity, the extra 20 bucks was worth it.

To the OP, i know it may sound like we are pounding the propshaft issue into the ground but i think everyone here will agree that its the best money you can spend if you wanna keep drving your disco. The peace of mind that it isnt gonna just explode and take out your trans is a great feeling.

Touché, dgi 07, touché. Convenience is relative (considered in comparison with something else) and I completely respect your view.

In my view, it is FAR more convenient to keep more money in my bank account and less in money in my auto-parts store's bank account.

Though we may have our different opinions on convenience, I'm 100% with you on this one dgi 07!
