Default Driveshaft rebuild and balancing

Rebuilt my front driveshaft a few months back with good parts (Neapco) and had it balanced by Tom Woods (it had a rust spot indicating a missing weight). Turned out great and was only $45 including return shipping. Highly recommended. Still had some vibes from the rear so I did the rear front ujoint, vibes continued (54-65mph). Unfortunately, Tom Woods can not balance Rotoflex equipped shafts so I was on my own. It too had a missing balance weight. I added two hose clamps roughly at the position of the missing weight and viola, vibes are history. Would love to know where I can get it professionally balanced - I'm OK with rotoflex - stock height, road only. I like the shock absorbing effect. Anyone know who would do the balance?

Have you called around to some local driveline shops?

More places than I can count. Living in suburban Detroit, you would think every automotive service would be on every street corner. Most places lock the door when you drive up in a LR. This is my second one and any time I'm asked if buying one is a good idea I reply "If you're handy and love them, then yes. If you want to gas and go, then no.)

I've never had a driveline shop bat an eye about a land rover propshaft.

The axle guy in my town who rebuilt my front shaft with parts I supplied couldn't balance it, either. He said he didn't have the right adapters for the balancer, and this was THE go-to guy for anything relating to drive shafts or axles.

I'm with Tom, the guys around here don't care who built it, but they handle everything including semi trucks.
