Default Drivetrain Wiening

I have a 1996 disco1. I have noticed that lately the drivetrain has been wiening everytime i put on the gas. I have noticed a little oil around the transfercase but dont know how to refill it. Could that be the problem or could it be something else. Thanks

Change all of your driveline fluids over to synthetic. There is a fill plug you can stick a 1/2" rachet into on your front and rear diffs, and on the back side of the transfer case. T-case is a little difficult to get to and you have to use a lube pump to get the oil in.

My bet is that if you transfer case is low, you have water in your rearend.

Do not drive the truck again till you add gear oil, or you will be buyting a new t/case.
