Dual Battery Set upfront...
#21
Nice - I thought the height of the battery was going to hit the hood so i opted out but I may just do it way. Like I said, Im not in a hurry so I gotta rethink the whole set up now...
EDIT - Do you have a photo of the bottom of the battery? Just curious how you made it flat - I have an idea in my head but I just want to see how your battery holder is set up.
This is the VSR that I got - it's IP65 - not sure if i want to keep it under the hood...
I got a FUSE BOX as well - If I decide to have it under the hood, I will probably get a better secured water proof one...
Also got the multi switches and dual 12V charger for the back...
Thanks for the clear answer - I dont want my trunk any heavier because I have an RTT more towards the back.

Ill Have to take it out and take a photo. I guess I didn’t take any photos intermittently.
But the tray is held at the lowest elevation to fit the battery’s and terminals without standing proud of the hood line & just high enough from the bottom to ride the wheelwell with enough room to fit two batteries... make sense? I built a support from 1”x1” square stock to sport front from under. Tacked some capture nuts & utilized enough original mounting points. It’s quite a bit more secure then the Original plastic housing.
I tried scribbling a diagram of each piece.

Currently I carry lithium battery jump starter pack. Would like dual batteries for a host of reasons.
