If you're having troubles with the tower nuts spray them the night before with penetrating oil/fluid. If you cannot locate new nyloc nuts just use some Loctite thread lock fluid instead.

Huh. Last time I changed my shocks I removed the coil springs to do it.... I didn't think of removing the tower thing.

Now I feel stupid.

I'd say the bigger problem with removing the towers is breaking the studs off the plate, rather than the nuts.

I wondered that myself, then went throughout the site. Just going to be honest here: I can't see shipping until after I give credit card info. That stops me in my tracks.

If you can tell me what it costs to ship 12 of them to Toronto, Canada, that might be the perfect solution.

Of course John Craddock has the bolts at 11p each. That helps too. And unfortunately I keep finding shipping cheaper out of the UK than the US. Seems mad to me, but there you have it.

Absolutely...shipping is much cheaper from UK to Canada than US to Canada, I can't understand why.

Just makes sense, so much easier to cross the Atlantic to a different continent than to just put put something in a truck and drive it a few hundred miles to a "free trade" partner. Perfectly sensible.

It's completely nuts. It's often cheaper for me to buy and ship stuff from the US than buy and ship from the UK to France. Buying motor parts or tools in France is a no, no as they usually only supply OE parts and their tools are crap and both are ridiculously expensive. I bought 3/8" drive locking socket extensions from the US at half the price and that included shipping.
