Default EGR Valve O2 sensor relation

Question...do you think a stuck closed egr can mess up an o2 sensor?

There is NO EGR on a Land Rover engine, non, natta.

You are correct I should have said SAI control valve Spike
But you knew what I meant so I ask you the high holy one of disco repair.
Can a stuck closed SAI control valve cook an O2 sensor?

by "mess up" if you mean damage i'd say no...if you mean make the O2 throw a code i'd say yes.

I had read this thread before the other one so no, I was not sure on what you meant.
But like Nitetrain said, a bad/clogged SAI could set off a O2 code I suppose.

The SAI works like a black smiths bellows, it forces air into the cats to heat them up faster to reduce emissions.

I do not know if a non SAI and a SAI truck use the same O2's or not.
