Default EGR valve cleaning?

I have a 2000 Disco with the 4.0 v8. I was wanting to clean the EGR valve but its sealed. Unless i'm looking at the wrong one. It set on the top back side of engine. Is there a way to clean it our am I looking at the wrong valve?

Didn't know these rigs had EGR's.
Think you're referring to the idle air control valve (IAC).
I just spray it out with carb cleaner until clean.

You are right ZGPhoto. The TD5 uses an EGR setup. Like mine, most people in europe remove them as they are another endless source of trouble and help consume lots more diesel. (it pays just to store the EGR in the garage just in case the DOT require them to be refitted)

Thanks I sprayed it with carb cleaner and now the parts inside are moving like it should. I'm thinking I should rum sea foam through the vacuum line to clear everything else out. don't no how good that will be for the O2 senors. but my disco does seem to be running smotther since I clean the EGR our whatever it's called.
