I apologize for not getting back yet, yes I did. Only problem is that I made a silly mistake and ordered BLUE on accident. I haven't done that in a long time... I'm going to re-order them and see what I get.

The Blue look cool, but are not easy on the eyes when you actually need to see something. I took them back out until I get the white ones in.

Anyone need blue lights for anything?

Just RE-Ordered these - 10 Pieces for $6.88 & Free Shipping:

I'll let you know how these work when they arrive on the 23rd.

Ah, that sucks! I don't need any blue lights.

If you like them, I may have to order some as well and replace my 6 LED's with these.

All of those war movies show red lighting in the dark to preserve your night vision. That's what I would do if I could be bothered changing the lights to LED.

Or better yet, have switchable red/white.

It's funny you mention this. I was having this conversation with a co-worker this morning about using red LED's to conserve night vision. It would be pretty cool if there was a way to have both red & white in the dome lights. Some way to switch between the 2.

I think I'm going to go ahead and upgrade my 6 LED white's to 8 or 10 LED white's, though. I'm right on the threshold of being too dim, although it does light up the interior, there is a little more to be desired. My wife wants them in her D2 also, so I'll probably end up ordering another 10-pack like I did with the 6 LED lights.

I'm still waiting on delivery of my white bulbs. Probably today or tomorrow, will let you know how they look...

8 LED Bulbs showed up Yesterday, got them installed today. The jury is out for me. It's a more directional lighting because these used Focused LED's. I think there's plenty of brightness, but it's aimed. I'll play with them more and see what I think. Maybe aim them up and just use the reflection and see if that works better. I'm wondering if the 12 LED ones would be better if aimed up. First photo with flash, the rest without. Also, keep in mind I'm using my Nokia Lumia 920 phone that does AWESOME low light photos, so the camera is seeing more than my eyes can.

Taken with Flash

No Flash - of course
