Default Eletric Problem in 2002 Disco

Ok I just bought a 02 Disco about a week ago .Now the the truck drives beautiful no problems at all . But it seems to b a problem with the eletric . Like the radio and ac keeps turn on and off . And then I have to stop the car and then turn it off and on . And then turn it on . Now I am not understanding y it does that . Does anyone have any answers ?

Also the heat is not getting hot when sitting it only gets hot when the car is moving. I am guessing thats the heat from the engine thoe .

No ideas about your electrical problems but for your heat problem check your coolant level. If it is low you won't get adequate circulation at idle to get heat. You may also have to bleed the cooling system.

not sure on a D2 but my D1 says not to flush the coolant system. not sure why but it should just need to be topped off, bled, and pressure tested, of course I may be wrong on this

drain it or bleed it? there is a difference if there is a plastic screw on top of the radiator it needs to be bled (meaning the air has to be released), if it is on the bottom of the radiator it has to be drained, I would think the only time it should be drained is if you are removing parts or the coolant is no good.

I am sure Mike will jump in on this one soon and he should know for sure
