The owner mentioned a slight valve tap the truck had. He took it to LR to have it checked out and they went out and replaced the head. We're trying to make arrangements to view it this weekend. Been sitting since around Nov but held on to it til the time was better to sell. Not a big fan of burgundy but everything sounds pretty good.

I'd take it yourself to the nearest rover dealer or at least call in the vin. They will tell you everything about them and ESPECIALLY the bad things if you aren't buying from them. Rover sold me one with the damn faulty engine (03) but they didn't have any problem looking up info and bashing the hell out of the other one I was looking at.

 

pretty low mileage, but plan on doing the 60K service when you get it. Also plan on the front driveshaft. Price seems right, and with a warranty, you really can't go wrong...

 

Yup already got those two things in mind. Been reading on the driveshaft and the 60K mile service writeup "discomike" put together. If this one get's away from me i'm going to have to keep looking.

Also, does anyone know if that tax break we're getting also helps on used cars or is that only on new cars????
