Will do. Clearing out room today so I can start going over that '04 we've been talking about.

Go to the Ashcroft site:
Ashcroft Transmissions

They supply either one of these two stickers for the CDL conversion depending on either an auto or manual transmission.

Instructions from this sticker:

1) Only engage the CDL at 0 to 5 mph speed
2) Shift your automatic transmission to Neutral
3) Engage your CDL lever to Low Range or High Range (respective upper left or lower right ends of the H pattern on the CDL lever)
4) Shift your transmission as needed to D, 3, 2, 1 or R (depending on the driving conditions)
5) Truck will propel with CDL engaged

1) It doesn't mention CDL at all. The 0-5mph is for shifting -- whether for the CDL or for range.
...
3) Range is either of the upper or either of the lower positions. Left or right is irrelevant as far as range is concerned.
...
5) Again, CDL is not mentioned. Step 5 is just saying that the truck is now driveable.

This sticker doesn't explicitly address the CDL except in the rightmost part where it says to consult the manual. Apart from that little bit, everything it says is applicable to a truck without a CDL fitted at all.
