My son wrecked his Disco II I have swapped the engine trans and other various parts like fuse panel, blowers, window lock wiper motors to make sure everything is working. Right before I go for a test drive I get a CEL but I decide to go anyways. After a short test drive approx. 1.5 mile it was running fine but when I turned around to come back I could here valves pinging and reduced performance. When I got back home there was a smell of marshmallowss on a campfire. I assume it was some oil or other misc fluid burning off the exhaust. I check the codes and I get PO134, PO135, and PO155. Ive seen numerous threads where people get the same codes and change the O2 sensors with no luck. I decided to drive close to the house and while trying to accelerate the whole truck just died but started back up pretty quickly but stumbling to do so.


Can anyone give me a few things to check? Obviously Im going to be checking wiring and make sure the heater circuits have continuity. Can one bad O2 cause the heater circuit to go bad for both front sensors? Which side is bank 1 and bank 2? Wiring diagram for heater relay? what fuse?

 

FYI those codes are P zero not P oh if doing a search.

D2 manual would suggest you may have a circuit/wiring issue after your swaps.

 

I've actually gathered that much but I have no clue where to start. I was hoping someone had a wiring diagram. Circuit to check?
