Default engine code, and trans question

hi

i am new to this site. i have a 97 disco and the check engine light is on. i have a scanner and i think the number is 1193. it is bad fuel air metering, manufacture contol. i tried to replace the gas cap, and it comes on and off once in awhile. for the most part it goes off when i fill the tank. sometimes when i turn the truck on it will or will not come on. kinda like the lottery, lol

one other question. is there a bypass switch to shift the trans out of park if it is stuck into place. i recently couldnt get it out of park and i ripped out the whole center column, come to find out it was the brake light switch and it was that easy. i didnt even need to pull the column apart. u should have seen us trying to get it off the tow truck bed, in park.
so i just wanted to know for future refrence.

P1193 Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit Open Downstream
You are looking in the wrong direction.
How many miles on your truck, what gas have you been running?

At your mileage, your O2's are getting tired, change out the 4 of them and watch how your power and mpg improve.
