Default engine interchange
Would I be able to use a 4.0 out of a 1997 range rover and put it in my 2000 disco 2 if I swapped everything I could off of by bad motor in the disco 2?

Yes you can there are some differences between gems and Bosch. That will be a bit of work and if you have SAI switching the heads is likely. It will work though

the crank shaft positioning sensor will be an issue, but LR does sell the correct plate
