Default engine oil

justs about to change the fluids and was wondering what is the recommended engine oil
for a 93 dicso 3.9l
normal, semi synthetic or full??
10w 40?
15w 40??

any ideas???

It doesn't make any difference between thos two weights, as for the synthetic, yes it is better on the engine as is a good filter, like a K&N 3001 or a Mobil1-301.

I dont think they sell those filters in Spain Mike, I could be wrong.
15w-40 would be a good choice. Full synthetic is best. And a good brand name oil filter.

It all depends where you are in Spain
and it can get cold ,, I would try 10w30 or 10w40 even in southern Spain.

If it uses oil go with the next grade up say 10w30 to 10w40.

Now if you go to Morrocco go with the 15w40 in the sand!!!!!!!
