Engine Temp question
I'm in the Springs as well. Your temps are a bit higher than my D2 with a new Hayden HD Fan clutch and genuine TD5 180 T-stat. I'm normaly 94 max at idle, and 201 max climbing the passes around the front range or slow going offroad. 95% of the time around town I'm in the 188-194 range.
Hope that helps!
5kcstq, thank you. Glad to know that my temps are right in there
, the t-stat 180 is a genuine LR TD5 as well. I am happy with the current temps, gonna do some customizing then come back to the engine in the spring
.
BTW - do you have any recommendations for trails? Cheers!

Hot climates for sure. I also run one in Wisconsin where it can hit -30F. The engine still heats up at the same rate to operating temperature, the thermostat just helps with not hitting the higher temp ranges and allows the coolant to flow through the entire system faster than a stock thermostat would, thus keeping everything a bit cooler.
