First ask your dealer or shop if they will honor it.
2nd, be aware that it won't cover many claims if you modify your truck, lifts, bigger tires, HD bumpers.
How much are they asking for this coverage?

You will need to have the oil changed by ashop AND keep the reciets until the warrenty is over. As well as changed all other fluids and filters by a shop and keep those recipts too. And you cannot EVER go over 4 months or 4,000 miles. So if you only drive 1,000 miles in 4 months you will still have to pay to have it changed.
It will not cover blown head gaskets. If there is a oil leak you will need to get it fixed, covered under warrenty or not otherwise they can say that it was negelect on your part.
They will only cover $3000 for a new engine, last time I checked a Rover engine is over $4000. And that is total, they will only cover $3000 TOTAL for engine repairs.
Any breakdown that occurs in the first 90 days or 1000 miles is not covered.
Diffs are not covered.
No mods of any kind.
Must have ALL PRINTED service records, nothing hand writen. Any abuse/act of God/etc not covered.
In my opinion, save your money. Put $100 into a money market account and make payments to yourself, if something big comes up that you cannot afford take the money out of the money market account.
If you finance the $2000 with the loan it will cost you alot more than that with interest. They have lawyers writing these contracts to protect themselves, it is easy money for them. Not to mention that they will tell you where you can get the repairs done.
If it sounds to good to be true...
