fan clutch question
whats SAI stand for?
well iv not had a problem with either store yet with buying or returning. bought axles for my jetta in CT 6 years ago, replaced them many times with no questions asked, but if i were to do it all over again, i would have bought OEM axles, or good aftermarket ones. gotten pretty quick at changing axles on it

Oh, I definitely don't have the SAI. But I do know what it sounds like as my 2000 jetta does have that system on it. Looks like I'll make a trip to autozone and see what they got. Took the D2 to costco today and when I got home, I spun the fan and it seems to make a half revolution or maybe a little more. From one video I watched last night about clutch fans is that ones u stop pushing on the fan the fan blades stop right away. So what's exceptable free spin at cold and hot on these things?
