The Dorman Hayden Combo works well for me. Although the severe duty Hayden makes a ton of noise and I find it tough to diagnose misfires or other issues when on the throttle. The fan roar is very loud with the severe duty.

you have run the 2781 it seems that it does not make so much noise and it works fine. I don't know who has tried it

I run the hayden 2991 and the dorman fan without any issues and would highly recommend that combination.

Is there more mpg consumption? I run it and I noticed a greater consumption and I don't know if it's my thing that I feel less strength

not sure about mpg. I'm happy if I average 15mpg on a tank. Sometimes a lot less but it all depends upon the length of my trips.
