Default Fan Rotation after water pump replacement

Hopefully just a quick answer to my question but I recently replaced my 02 Disco water pump and after everything was reinstalled the fan rotates counterclockwise. For some reason I thought the fan rotated clockwise. I am 99% sure I put the belt on correctly. Can someone verify the correct rotation of the fan for me.
Thanks
Josh

Not sure on directional rotation, but as long as the flat side of the belt is on the water pump pulley then you're good. If the ribbed side is on the pulley then you put the belt on wrong. That goes for all the pulleys. Flat pulleys get flat side, ribbed pulleys get ribbed side.

Look at the blades. With which rotation will they pull air through the radiator?

Thanks for the help. Not sure why I thought it rotated clockwise. The fan does pull air through the radiator for example if I put a piece of paper between myself and the radiator it is being pulled towards the engine.
Thanks again
