Depends on how late I am for work. I top out around 95 in one open stretch about 10 miles. In the 3.5" lifted disco I would've topped out around 90.

I try to stay around 79 though, cause 80 and over is reckless driving.

Seriously 5 over is what I do. Although the LR3 lifted on tires etc does fine at much higher speeds.
Is the LR3 engine much more powerful or is it gearing?

Thanks Best! Why don’t people swap this into a DII?

Engine is a DOHC setup vs pushrod V8 so it’s very wide. Also the wiring for the LR3 is a CAN BUS setup.

A few years ago I was driving down to Ocean City on 95 with the family in my 04 SE7 with a loaded roof rack and Im cruising along and a cop passes me so i keep on moving and grooving next thing I know the cop falls back and gets behind me and lights me up, so I pull over slowly and lower all the windows and put my hands outside the window crossed so they are visible to the approaching officer as he approaches, so he asks me for my license and registration which I gladly oblige and ask him what the reason for the stop was and he informed me I was traveling at a high rate of speed and I was clocked at 95 mph, I informed the officer that I had no idea the rover could go that fast so the cop hands me back my ID and tells me to drive safe to which i obliged, needless to say I didn't hit 95 again on 95! hahahah

Autopiloted 63 to 65 MPH on 70 limit depending on traffic, always right lane, like an old fart.

My truck feels super solid on the highway with my lift and tires, cruises fine at 130kmh no problem. Set the cruise and listen to tunes. I will admit the mileage is horrible against a headwind tho. Just yesterday I averaged 9mpg on the highway heading east. Got 12.8 mpg on the way back.

It as noted is a bit more powerful. Honestly though at the 32”+ tire size its wanting to be re-geared. When I pop the 33’s on it I know it will be noticeable.

Unfortunately there is currently no gears available that I know of
