5 - On a lot of my trim I repainted it using a combination of plastidip, bedliner spray, and rustolium

6 - Depends on what is letting air in or what's causing the whistling, the back door normally needs to be reset by loosening the bolts and having someone hold it up and have another tighten it down. The doors need the trim/seal thing to either be replaced or re-positioned to actually seal the cab. The window finishing on my disco caused a lot of whistling until I took it apart and used 3m double back tape to get it to close the gap.
